Truckfighters Fuzzomentary (2011)

Three down-to-earth guys, working on day-to-day jobs, recording songs and reaching out for alternatives beyond ordinary. This is a deadpan fun fuzzomentary about the double-tracked lifestyle of a young, determined rock band called Truckfighters.

This doc-/mockumentary by Joerg Steineck and Christian Maciejewski features musicians like Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age), Alfredo Hernandez (Kyuss), Ruben Romano (The Freaks), Chris Cockrell (Vic Dumonte) and bands like Fu Manchu, Graveyard, Witchcraft and Valient Thorr.

For its humor and honest perspective Truckfighters Fuzzomentary is reccommended viewing for fans and newcomers alike. THE OBELISK

With its creative staging, ironical off voice and a dramaturgy of a narrative film, Truckfighters Fuzzomentary manages to stay authentic and artistically ambitious at the same time. OX Fanzine (8/10)
